New Patient Info PDF Print E-mail

It's simple, we treat everyone like family.

We know that going to the doctor's office can be a stressful event, with paperwork to fill out, new faces and names to learn, all while you're in pain or suffering with a health condition.  Our goal is to alleviate your apprehension and make you feel at home.

You see, the more you understand us, what we do and why we do it, the better you're going to feel in our office.  This is a good recipe to start feeling better and getting great results!

New patients can download our Patient Information Form before visiting our office for the first time.

On your first visit we will answer the following questions:

    * What's causing my problem?
    * Can chiropractic care help me?
    * How long will it take for me to be well?
    * How much will it cost and does my insurance cover chiropractic care?

During your first visit we will determine if you are in the right place for your particular problem.  If we find that your condition will not benefit from chiropractic care we will refer you to an appropriate specialist.

Prior to seeing the doctor you will fill out some initial paperwork which will assist the doctor during your consultation and examination.

During the consulatation you will have ample time to explain your problem while at the same time answer pertinent questions from Dr. Neivert so that he can better understand your condition.

Following the consultation you will have a physical examination where the doctor may perform some chiropractic, orthopedic and neurological tests concentrating on your particular complaint.

When your examination is completed, Dr. Neivert may recommend the proper diagnostics such as x-rays, MRI, CT Scan.  He can refer you to the West Suburban Imaging Center for these services or any of the local area hospitals.

Dr. Neivert will then review your findings and any diagnostic studies and make recommendations for a trial of therapy which may include spinal manipulation as well as some physical modalities such as therapeutic ultrasound, therastim electro-therapy, interferential current (electrical therapy), pulstar analysis & treatment, intersegmental traction, diathermy deep tissue heating, rehabilitation exercises, or spinal decompression therapy.

Dr. Neivert may also prescribe a home exercise program as well as offer advice on the proper use of body mechanics, orthopedic supports such as orthotics, braces and or pillows.

We make it a priority to respect your time and that's why every effort is made for our staff to stay on schedule.

Dr. Neivert has been helping the community since 1971 and he's ready to start helping you.
